Close for me…. but never a fanny pack. Cargo pants, t-shirt with a pocket, covered by a button down shirt with two pockets, a jacket with who the hell knows how many more pockets, and even a backpack if needed. :) I am for better or worse, the “pack mule” for the family. Suspenders and a belt help. :)

An external holster for a pair pliers or a Leatherman attached to the belt is okay by me, but never a fanny pack!

Belt yes, fanny pack no and I used to wear suspenders until I had my shoulders replaced.
