On top of the microwave was Jasper’s favorite spot because it was the south window which gets sunlight most of the day. And don’t worry about radiation. As soon as I would open the microwave door, he would grumble and drop down! He lived to be 18 1/2 years old.

Beatrix’s review has a high number because it’s public, Tommy’s is approaching 50 because his mom is a cat rescuer, Elvis’ is low because he is hogging the new mat (and Lupin keeps adding location tags to annoy him,) and Puck has a moderate number because cats are tagging their own pizza boxes. The “sun” ought to be upvotes/likes”.

Elvis is only slightly less a Luddite than Paul is. I have sent him off on his own to the hospital for an EEG; considering his sense of direction, I may never see him again. I’m just not feeling all that well with this bout of bronchitis, so he told me to stay home and rest.

Never had a cat on the microwave. Did come home for lunch one day to find a neighbor’s big, black, laid back cat on top of my fridge. “Oh, hey, there. How ya’ doin’?”

At least Elvis seems to be getting more “likes.”

Ok, so my Finlay likes paper bags for naps. Now I’m thinking if I place one in a sunspot, which should warm the bag, the ratings will be over the top.

Last night I decided to set a wake-up alarm on my tablet and had it on the other side of the bed. This morning Reboot was asleep between me and my tablet when the alarm went off. I wanted something I couldn’t sleep through so I used the trumpet tune that signals a horse race starting soon. When it went off Reboot jumped about two feet in the air, gave me AND the tablet a dirty look, then sped out of my room as fast as his legs could go.

Beatrix knows.
