It’s autumn already in Canada? It’s still September – even if it’s the last day. It’s still 95 down here in Phoenix. Still wearing sleeveless shirts, shorts and sandals. Well, a small change – I no longer turn the AC all up to full blast. Now I turn it at the second dot. And the mornings are cool – in 70s which is our winter temperature Well, if I want to see autumn, I can just hop in my car and drive up north BUT it is NOT autumn up there yet – not until November. Perhaps last week of October but November for sure. Love the foliage up there but of course nothing like the northern states and Canada.
I like Autumn, but lately we have gone from summer to winter with a sudden vengeance. I didn’t even feel a fall. Of course the leaves fell but the temperature did not, until it snowed. I wonder if can get spring and fall back by paying someone?
Autumn is my favourite season. It’s looking like we’ll get one in Britain this year, and I’m feeling as though I have to treasure it up because who knows how many more we’ll get?
It is nice to see Michael doing something to help around the house. Maybe seeing Elizabeth doing all those chores last week made him think about doing something himself. Bringing in some logs for the fire is helping.
Love the Phoenix area! My family moved to Scottsdale in the summer of 1960. I had one year of high school left and I graduated from Scottsdale high. I know that the school got torn down — such a shame. Here in the Central Valley of CA we have had a “cool” spell, but that will probably only give way to one last heat blast before “winter.”
I would love to live where it snows…..until it actually snows and I have to go outside for anything or drive anywhere…then I like living right here in Houston TX. It snows every so often. Just enough for the ground and rooftops to look white…until it melts.
Calgary Alberta has snow! Early for that area. Here on the Sunshine Coast of BC it is sunny yet a little cool. Jacket is required. Especially at night.Sunny. High 14C UV index 4 or moderate.TonightA few clouds. Low 6C.

In the final panel, while Elizabeth is thinking about naked trees, there are some fully-clothed trees behind her sneaking up on her.

I’m nor sure what to say, but Canadians sure like their maple leaves.

Still too warm for Autumn here in Houston. But it has gotten slightly cooler. Now if only the humidity would go down to 10%
