When Mom retired she bought a bunch of wigs and turbans and then shaved her head. She said life is too short to spend it on hair grooming. So once a week she would thrown on a turban and take her wigs to the salon. I loved her for her courage and funny attitude.
I remember recomending a book to someone once, she’d just found out that her best friend had been diagnosed with cancer and she came in to the bookstore and asked me for a recomendation. I suggested a book called, “I’m sorry, I’m having a no hair day,” a humourous auto-biography by a cancer survivor who looked at the foubles of her cancer diagnosis and treatment. The woman glared at me and said, “My friend just found out that she has cancer, why would she want something humourous?”

Brutus knows how to make a person feel better. Maybe he should quit his job and be a therapist.

Once again the Born Loser attitude. He should revel in the fact he doesn’t have bad hair days.
