Billy says, "I've never really been able to wrap my mind around "Because it's there." Billy says, "Why climb the highest mountain? Because it?s there. Why tightrope between the world's tallest buildings? Because they are there." Billy says, "But I guess some people can only experience life when they are closest to death." Cow says, "Ok, why are not falling yet" Billy says, "Don't look down, cow. We can do this."

When rope walking, it really is important not to look down. Focus on a stable point close to eye-level and far away, so that your eyes work with your vestibular sense. Looking down, you will see a swaying rope which will contradict your vestibular sense. I was taught this by a “carnie” who made a living running a “rope walk” concession.
