Oy…

Winky’s life is now Sirius hull.

He won’t be able to pull it out…the lower pressure on the other side has resulted in swelling. Yes, I’m aware that’s open for misinterpretation.

Time for a decorate Winky’s sheet contest!

Maybe they can get Dr Mel to stuff Winky’s spleen into the hole.

Out of sight, out of mind.

pcolli , I think it will also be painful on re-entry.

That’s how I felt when they issued me a uniform.

Actually, herbthiel, I was wondering if his spleen was going to somehow get pulled out through his finger.

Speaking of that story by Heinlein where they plugged a hole in the space ship with somebody’s rear end –

I did a little arithmetic, and a hole big enough to fit a fair sized tush would be about 10 or 12 inches in diameter, which would be around 75 to 115 square inches. At 14 pounds per square inch of air pressure, against the vacuum of space, that works out to around 1000 to 1600 pounds of force!

Methinks it would take someone with an iron constitution to actually plug such a hole without getting sucked out entirely.

Through the finger is the second most common path through which spleens get sucked out.

Before his finger was put in the hole, Winky removed his spleen. The rest of him might get sucked out but this time his spleen will remain intact.

Cliff is quite the problem solver.
