Nancy wearing blue jeans? Sure, it makes sense for her to wear them in this context, but it still looks weird because I only expect to see Nancy wearing a red or black pair of pants or skirt.
(And now that I’ve posted this, someone is sure to respond with links to previous strips in which Nancy is wearing blue jeans.)
Kids carry their phones in their back pockets. How they don’t sit on them is a mystery. Also: the way to reduce anxiety is not by avoiding it but by developing strategies to cope with it. What Nancy needs is the breath app I have on my Apple Watch. It will fix everything!

In other Nancy news, the Spokesman-Review has written a bizarre article about Nancy, which they’re considering including in their comics section:
http://www.dailycartoonist.com/index.php/2019/08/29/nancy-an-option-in-spokesman-review-poll/
Interestingly, they note that “Since Jaimes started drawing “Nancy,” the strip has gone from running in 75 newspapers to being in nearly 140.”
So there’s that.

So knowing that the monster under the bed is a “ImHungryGonnaEatNancySaurus” makes it less scary?
