Hurricane Dorian

Dorian has taken the fun out of the Labor Day weekend for many of us. Keep safe, everyone.

That’s what you get for wearing shoes and socks in the summer. Should be in sandals or barefoot!

In reality, Mid-Michigan got it’s major rainstorm over late night Thursday. Labor Day weekend is starting out sunny, not too cold or hot, and with a little green in the yards. Perfect!

For Frazz et al, a surprise, Dorian however, some warning given.

I’ve had that happen while riding my motorcycle. Soaked everywhere – shirt, jeans, neck, shorts…

With Dorian, it’s not only gonna be a bad weekend, it’s gonna be an entire bad month.

The question is, does it saturate the left sock and the right sock equally?

Isn’t there a saying about being smart enough to come in out of the rain?

I’m quite sure that nature doesn’t target 3-day weekends in the USA for rainstorms. And I’m equally sure that humans who get rained on during their big picnic remember it a lot more clearly than their memory of more ordinary weather.

I get a 2-day weekend, but not from nature. It happened to be my Saturday to work today, meaning a 6-day week. Balanced by a 4-day week next week.
