Goodbye Gracie
Nothing like that feeling when you leave that office for the last time….
You should have had a fourth panel where you reached in and turned off the light.
Nice reference to Burns and Allen.
Even if you are going to newer and better things, it is still sad to leave the old behind.
I’ve always felt a sense of loss when I moved on to a new episode of life. None more than when I retired.
Gracie Allen never said “Good night, Gracie”, she simply said “Good night.” On the other hand, Dick Martin was well known in the sixties for saying “Good night, Dick!” at the end of nearly every episode of Laugh-In.
Buh-deep buh-deep bu-deep, That’s all folks!
