We actually have a a couple that come into the coffee shop on Saturdays. They bring their daughter (probably about 10yo) who can speak and sign.

We used to have a restaurant where you could only order by sign language. All the servers were deaf. They gave us a key to sign language. Life in the city is lonely, not just for the deaf.

Wow! This is the second time I’ve seen a character use ASL in a comic. Totally cool!
