This looks like ‘Liqiudator 2 - Judgement day’. I’ll bet he’s just calling to say “I’ll be back.”

shytimes2, it was a real product. And you’re in for a treat… Dr. Seuss was an artist for its advertising, and did a series of cartoons based on the slogan, “Quick, Henry, the Flit!” You can see his work for Flit and other advertisers here. You might also want to look for his book, “The Tough Coughs As He Ploughs the Dough”, which contains his early advertising and other work.

We don’t have the benefit of shytimes2 and his post, but I believe it related to a series of ads based on the line “Quick, Henry, the FLIT”. There are many and Dr Seuss is responsible for lots of them plus ads for other brands, before his characters entered the field of children’s entertainment:

Puzzle night! This one, because of its horizontal layout, is actually easy to solve in a top-bottom configuration rather than a side by side. I got em fairly quickly this time.

Calling all puzzlers and Cleo followers…

It’s Saturday on Sherpa…. and time to test your difference-finding skills…

In the February 13th, 2021 “Cleo and Company!”

Which you can see right here:

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

or use my side by side version:

    https://i.postimg.cc/TYxVCNX8/Cleo-nine-differences-Feb-13th-21.png

Your choice, as always… but I have to say, this is one of those rare times…

when the puzzle is drawn in such a short (or as it prefers to be called, “vertically challenged”), wide rectangle…

some of you might prefer the top-and-bottom-layered Sherpa version…

instead of the wide-angle Cinerama® appearance of the panels laid out sideways.

Not me… but some of you.

Such a sweet, innocent little doggie…..

Awww… especially if you think 3/4 the height of her “mistress” is what you’d call “little.”

And such a cute, fuzzy, wee squirrel… NOT.

C’mon, Clara… who wouldn’t want to dynamite that toothy, crazy thing, with the obviously maniacal laugh?

I found 10 differences. Is the tenth one the fact that I didn’t have to turn the tablet length wise to see both panels like I did the last time this one was on?

Good morning, Ballardeers and Rotifer…! Q Date: 337.98719.93 National Tortellini and National Cheddar Day on this snowy 4 degree morning.

Been quite a while since I’ve seen that ACME bug fogger, which I’m sure the Darwin haters had banned.

Cleo has a propensity for overkill when it comes to boom booms.

Northern Tier Ballardeers need to protect themselves and their fur babies. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be the coldest Valentines Day ever recorded in the Chi – Town area.

Y’all stay warm and cuddled. (((((Hugs!)))))

    Oh no!

    I guess I finally did what I’m always afraid I’ll do…

I fell asleep without posting the solution!

    Sorry, difference hunters.

Some of you are probably still asleep, or haven’t done the puzzle yet…. so maybe you haven’t noticed.

    Don’t tell each other, OK?

Here it is, right here… just pretend it’s a few hours ago… all right?

    https://i.postimg.cc/7YQLfb9B/Cleo-solution-Feb-13th- 21.png

Meanwhile,,I was thinking about that squirrel… his face looks so familiar.

At first I thought he might be part Nauga… the creature from which we get Naugahyde.

    https://laughingsquid.com/wp-content/uploads/Nauga.jpg

But then I remembered… I think I posted a picture of him for the strip this puzzle came from…

    Buster Brown’s dog, Tige!

Until I was about 8, my mother cut my hair in a Buster Brown haircut… and I wore Buster Brown® shoes…

so I always thought Buster Brown was a girl, like me.

    But Tige terrified me.

Btw… like Henry, the Flit shooter, before he was used in advertising, Buster Brown was a comic… the creation of a famous artist…

Richard Outcault, who created the Yellow Kid… whom some call the first newspaper cartoon character.

Rotifer, I’m not mysterious. I just have two jobs that keep me busy. I’ve put up solar panels and have started a small vegetable farm that keeps me busy. I don’t have a husband or kids because of the way things are getting. And it looks like things are going to get bad this year and for the next couple of centuries. With everything I’ve done, I’ll survive everything for awhile. I’ve also downloaded about ten terabytes of movies and TV shows to watch. It’s one reason why I have the solar panels. I bet Clara would have loved to have gotten one of those Valentine’s Day cards from Claude. Happy Valentine’s Day.
