    hey guys!

in the waning days of Cleo and Company residing in the sherpa line up, I wanted to post new stuff on Mondays,

Wednesdays and Fridays the rest of the way. I’m having fun pretending like I’m a real syndicated cartoonist and

doing another extended adventure strip. Cleo dreams when she sleeps. When you see the adventures of Sam Bass™

or Superbasset™ or Robin Hound™—that’s when Cleo is dreaming

and for the rest of the month she’s dreaming she’s the champion of the oppressed bassets in old California , PERRO™!

    ¡Hola, Cleo amigos!!

    Donde estan todos?

Which is to say… where ARE you all?

    Except Grog… I see you Grog… ¡hola!

Nighthawks just announced a new series….

    and there it is!

In the Feb 15th, 2021 “Cleo and Company” …on Sherpa….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Perro is back… with Episode 1 of a brand new adventure…

    and it’s muy beeootiful!

A galleon on the ocean, under sunset skies…

And on board is the dog we know (but sshhh) will be our hero…

as yet hiding out as his alter ego, the handsome, mustachioed Don Doggo de Basset!

He’s coming home to save early California from some serious problems…

One of them being the total lack of a superhero.

He may not have superpowers, like X-ray eyes, enormous strength, or the ability to fly…

but he’s got enormous brown eyes…

and he’s a whiz with a sword, wears really tight pants, and can capture ladies hearts in a single bound…

I think sometimes he even wears a cape!

    Good enough for me.

I just love that character. Reminds me to watch the old human serial again.

I’m excited about another thrilling serial adventure tale. Only this time with the dashing Don Doggo. As I recall, he always wore black. There was something extra daring about a hero in black. Like Paladin in Have Gun Will Travel. Or Chris in The Magnificent Seven.

I wonder if Mikie would be as fond of it if it was a lone, say, crocus?

Good morning, Ballardeers and NH! Q Date: 339.98725.33 National Wisconsin Day and 3 – 12 inches of snow in Chicagoland from now through tomorrow morning.

I like it. I like it not.

PERRO! Such a much better sounding title than the English DOG! I’m really gonna like this one. I never missed the original Zorro. For me, Guy Williams was to Zorro as Clayton Moore was to The Lone Ranger.

Y’all grab your foam tri-corners, head to the Brat Stop then slide on up to Mars Cheese Castle. (((((HuGz)))))

I have an idea as to how this could end. Next Friday for the animation, this mystery could end with Cleo riding her horse in front of Claude and Clara who are on a horse drawn carriage. Clara is holding the evil cat from next door. At the end of the animation, they turn and and say “Thank you, to all of our readers”. Then in the final scene, they all say, “Good-bye Sherpa. You will be missed by everyone”. That’s where it ends. Then, on Saturday for the find the differences, the last scene can be shown with Find the Differences between the two scenes. I don’t know what to put on for Sunday on the 28. Maybe somebody can come up with something.

with the end goal to hammer out as many episodes in as little time as possible, I’ve suspended animations for the

Perro series…..at least so far. the series won’t end with our departure from sherpa, but if you guys want to see

how things turn out, then you’ll have to follow Stel and me to a new site……I KNOW that’s a lot to ask, but I

refuse to let gocomics kill Cleo and Company like they already have killed ‘Bluebonnets’ who will cease operation

as of March 1. I’ll let you know when the site is up and running
