I have never been to a bonfire before. I’ve sat around a little campfire (actually move is more accurate as I try to avoid the smoke), but never a bonfire. My high school never did that, nor did the universities I attended. Only one university I taught a had a bonfire one of the years I taught there, but the weather was too miserable to go over. The photos I’ve seen sure make them look impressive, though.
