Too late! Such a subject has just been forbidden in some schools, because of the anguish it could cause if some children didn’t have a good summer or week-end…

If only school allowed recordings. Phoebe would DEFINITELY ace it.

Phoebe could write a NOVEL about her summers.

Yes Phoebe your composition will be INTERESTING, but it’ll be so far out that the teacher won’t believe a word of it.;-D

If it wasn’t for that pesky Shield of Boringness…

My teachers preferred to require that we write a book report on something we’d read over the summer. Some kids thought this was unfair double jeopardy, but my problem usually was deciding which one she’d give me the best grade for. This was kind of iffy when the teacher was brand new: Did she like fiction? History? Science? I tried a report on “Mathematics, Queen and Servant of Science” in (7th? 8th?) grade and got back a big “?” and a note to my mother asking if I had really read that!

So you won’t be popular this year either, huh?

yeah, I get the feeling that teacher is at best going to give her points for creativity/active imagination. Or at worst, as Sugar Bombs said, give her an F for making stuff up.

“Phoebe, stop making things up!”

Teacher suddenly realises Phoebe is there and thinks; “Oh no! Another story about unicorns!”

I hope you’re teachers like fan fiction.

I gave that up; the last time I did something interesting they tried to give me 4 to 25…
