I’m thinking this is their first meeting, but I expect it’ll be a good one. It struck me as kind of odd last week (?) when we had a strip, outside any continuity we’d previously seen, with this veterinarian. I’ve been anticipating that we’d see more of her.
Let’s see… Jon Arbuckle is dating Garfield’s veterinarian, and in “Mutts” Ozzie occasionally sees Earl’s lady vet socially. It may be that “veterinarian” serves the same purpose for fictional women that “architect” serves for fictional men: it’s the ideal job for a love-interest. Professional, yet still “sensitive”…
(That’s not to say I expect Dr. Mollenhoff will end up dating Clyde, but I think she will in some way provide Clyde with “a woman’s touch.”) (I don’t mean that in a suggestive way.)
the poor are more compassionate to all living things,it has been shown that the poorer people are more likely to give to charities.
a certian republican says “so” to the jobs that will be lost due to the cutbacks.

I’m betting this vet already knows it’s Clyde in the waiting room.
