And it does give Henry a hobby that gets him out of the house.

Henry is Oak Street’s worst nightmare. Our cabable (mostly) crew is forever sweeping feathers, roses and bits of ribbon from the gutters lest they wash down and clog the Ballard Sanitation Facility and Fish Cleaning Station.

How about some fancy pants?

He can turn a sleek chapeau into an over-stretched cloche and fascinate you with a fascinator. Henry could always think and act out of the hat box!

So much for Rosalind’s plans to travel to the Kentucky Derby and Wimbledon.

He’s attacking people with them, why should she feel guilty?

In case any of you also have too many hats, the Ballard Street Hat and Feather Fighters Association is always looking for donations…

Hats, feathers, elastic, fake flowers, veils, cash donations, and cheese may be dropped off at the clubhouse on West Elm Street between 1 and 4pm weekdays.

At other times please bring them to Henry and Rosalind O’Malley’s house at 354 Lincoln Way.

If no one answers,and you don’t need a receipt, you may put your contribution in the green plastic crate next to the porch swing….

but please, don’t leave money or perishables unattended on the porch.

Actually, i don’t mind. All those lost feathers are great lining for my nest.

As I stated yesterday, quite a bit more violent in the early days!

There is something the matter, with the Ballard Street Hatter, and he’s having just too much fun!

And by brim and by crown, he crashes hats down … …when he runs out, then he’s done! :>)
