And scientists … well, some scientists… say that thinking deeply about exercise affords many of the same benefits as performing it.
So… when there is no wind, I sit outdoors and imagine a gale.
Afterward, I feel just as exhausted as I do after an actual windstorm.
And if I happen to fall asleep during my concentration,
I am often certain that I have dreamt about the wind, whether or not I can actually recall it…
because I still feel the beneficial effects of such vigorous activity…. and the concomitant desire for actual rest.

I think that i’d rather sit in the wind inside.
Once those gusts blowing through her hair get above 30 mph, she has to really engage her core.
When I get a chance, I seethe impotently for a few minutes. Great for the heart rate, not so good for the blood pressure.
