Must be a service dog. He just saved you from a heart attack.
Time for a hot chocolate.
Neither snow nor rain will keep Digger from his bone.
“The dog ate my shovel.”
“Good boy!”
I hung mine up for the season. Anything more just gets packed or ignored until the sun or rain takes care of it.
Digger needs to get a path to that certain spot in the backyard dug pronto. He’s been holding it all morning.
Digger knows how to get a bargain on anything he wants…
that snow shovel was a real steal.
Of course, that leaves Henry up a snowy path without a shovel…. but I don’t think he minds.
He never did like being in snow business… I think he was about to flake anyway.
Yeah, I know this isn’t going very well…
I don’t have a lot to say about snow…. it kinda leaves me cold.
BTW… I live in N. CA… we’ve had a tiny bit of snow a couple of times that I remember…
1991 was the only time I recall any staying on the ground long enough to take a picture… at most 1/4" or so in the deep shade.
It made the front page of the local newspaper.
Not trying to make you jealous… just wanted to explain why I stood in wonder, a month or so ago, at my local Target… (remember shopping?)
gazing at a large display of big, ergonomic snow shovels.
Not the lightweight aluminum things of my Midwestern youth… but huge wide blades designed for lifting snow by the bucketful.
They were having a sale on seasonal merchandise… so I said to the young lady setting it up…
“I bet those are way marked down” …
and she said no… that corporate had ever so wisely decided that snow boots, tires, and shovels weren’t going on sale yet…
because it’s been a late winter, and “more” snow was probably in the works.
Uh huh.
This isn’t the time to play…dog gone it…with my shovel
Remember that time you fake-threw the ball? Digger does…

Where can I get a pair of open-toed snow boots like those?
