Claude leads a well anchored life.

Claude wistfully imagines himself as a free man.

Well it does look as though you’re tied up at the moment.

Claude doesn’t mention that he’s the one that tied himself to the stone.

We all have our own stone that we’re tied to. Some of us choose our stone, others have their stone tied to them without any choice.

Clarice has trust issues. Claude tends to wander.

And there was that flirtation with the girl that sometimes manages the Tiki.. you know the one. Tall blonde?

Claude, eh? Where have I seen that name before?

Confine it, Cleo!

That’s one way to keep him from going out.

He tended to mill around the house.

It’s hard to make yourself stay home in this &%@! self-quarantine.

Claude did what he had to do.

Nose, Claude, nose to the grindstone…

Any excuse.

The little woman knows Claude gets frisky when spring is in the air.

My horse had a small pasture with little to graze on, so my sister and I would use a long rope on her so she could graze the lawn. We’d attach the rope to a huge concrete brick which she’d drag. It worked great, but her neck muscles became so strong leading her where she didn’t want to go became problematic.

I’m handcuffed to the bed. Which makes typing this comment difficult …

Claude’s retired. His former boss put it on him to keep him from showing up at the office and distracting (okay, bothering) the ones who still work there.

You don’t suppose this was metaphorical to being " stoned?"
