Ralph knows Angie better than she knows herself.
Ralph has that little smile on his face. “Hee Hee, outfoxed her this time.”
Maybe it was your fiendish cackles of glee while you were filling them. He’s heard that sound a few times before.
I think it was the water running for the last twenty minutes. Knowing Angie, Ralph knew she wasn’t doing dishes.
She figured instead of grousing, she’d do some real dousing, but he was reading Moby Dick and was role-playing Ahab. Or maybe it was Call Me Ishmael?
Ya gotta break your routine, Angie. Put ’em back in the freezer.
If you live with somebody long enough and you just know these things.
for a few seconds, I thought those were grenades.
Yeah, I thought they were those Yosimite Sam, Tom and Jerry, Wiley Coyote type cannon ball shaped explosives.
He’s not deaf, and he’s not senile.
Those buckles were the worst, but I kinda miss them…!
He’s just waiting for you to chase him outside.
Over the years Angie’s husband has come to expect such things. His trusty umbrella shield is close to hand at all times.
Ralph is now wearing protection.. Angie fondly remembers their youth.. when water sport was fun.
Angie … indoors, really? is that Astro-turf on the floor?
The Throckmortons in their usual state… all at sea… ☺
The package of balloons on the kitchen table & the running faucet were probably a big hint as well.
Hearing the water running is a trigger for antics in this house.
He was reading the Perfect Storm and realllly got into it.
Oh, I don’t know….that smile on his face could mean “Bring It On” sweetie :-) He probably has some water balloons stashed behind him to volley back too.
“How many times have I told you, Angie? No water balloons in the house.”
Little does Angie know that Ralph is packing a Super Soaker under his slicker.
Ralph has that look on his face that says he has something in store for Angie. And I’m not giving it away.
