Art is very easily entertained.

Every so often I chuckle to myself until I can find somebody to share the humor with. Life is amusingly absurd at times, and a twisted sense of humor can help quite often.

Me, too, Arthur. Me, too.

I always laugh at my own jokes…nobody else, just me.

At first glance I thought Arthur was watching TV. But nothing on TV is as funny as his own line of thought.

I’ll bet you could substitute “Jerry Van Amerongen” for “Charles” and it would also be true. Or you could substitute most other cartoonists names, and they’d be chuckling at their own witticisms.

I’m sure he’s the only one who does.

It’s not only that I amuse myself and not others…

which is very often true…

But that I also sometimes amuse others… when I’m not ..really…. quite… sure… why….

Being an introvert, Arthur amuses himself often.

Suffering from the same affliction, I’ve often thought it was because I owned a more refined sense of humor than others – then I moved to Ballard and met you all…

Well, I don’t know if it’s Art, but I know what I like.

He’s Beavis and Butthead, all rolled into one (heh heh heh) ☺

With age comes wisdom.. Arthur, long ago.. learned to ignore the funny looks from his friends.

Only I fully appreciate my sense of humor. My wife made me aware of this. It isn’t completely a male/female thing though… our daughters appreciate some jokes that my wife doesn’t.

Yesterday I saw a squirrel fall out of a tree…..

These days, I need to find myself amusing, since no one else is around.
