Max just has low expectations for his money. He just wants it to feed and clothe him, not work for him. Thus, he puts it into mundane things of questionable value.

Looks like Max isn’t good with a lot of things!

Max is a big fat liar…he is a corporate lawyer, lives in that big yellow house on Drijortel Drive and drives a BMW. He’s just plain nuts.

BTW that’s a $40 cigar.

Max is great with money. As soon as he gets any, he spends it.

Max is a sight to make eyes sore.

Max has the nicest pocket watch of all the bums in the park.

Max is a good dresser half the the time

Max is doing his best to stimulate the economy by spending what he has. Money in the bank or tucked in a mattress doesn’t hire a single person to provide a service or make a product.

He may not be good with it, but he’s still absolutely Mad about it!

Reminds me of the young soldiers I would see in town who would buy these really expensive cars because their housing and food were paid for. The ones who did choose to live off-post could only afford tiny little apartments because most of their salary went to their “toys” (cars, sea-doos, etc). Of course, they were living it up before they settled down with families but I always thought that was funny to see an expensive car and motorcycles outside of rundown, tiny homes.

Rather sad. But Max doesn’t seem to mind.
