Gary’s knowledge of magic is derived entirely from Jiffy Pop commercials.

Nice little second floor deck Gary’s got. Now all it needs is a roof and some screens. But gosh, I hope he has the necessary permits. Sheriff?

The light obviously won’t help him see at night. Is it there so that others can see him?

I can see that it’s ever so slowing sliding toward the edge…I’m going to go get a lawn chair and some popcorn.

That’s nice.

When it gets a little darker, Gary is all set up to do an insect survey.

The platform is well built, for Ballard County standards. Access is a bit difficult.

Gary is easily (but strangely) entertained.

There is definitely something magical about a rooftop perch where one can look down and observe the great unwashed.

Gary has a roost.

Gary…don’t forget that “magic rhymes with tragic”! ;o]

Just because there’s a light-bulb over your head doesn’t mean that’s a good idea, Gary…

And from up there he can just see over the fence to watch Martha sunbathe.. sly dog that he is.

Gasp! I want one of those!

Um…no.

It will be magical when Gary slides off the roof.
