It wasn’t really Jerome’s fault, Ethel sabotaged it.
And you can tell that just by looking at her face. Jerome is gonna wonder just how did it happen for a very long time. Shh, don’t tell him.
Of course Ethel did not like that vase, so she rigged that shelf to fail. Sadly the vase survived.
Time to call in CSI: Ballard Street
Crappy Shelf Investigations.
Factory-made, so SK can’t be blamed.
… and the “Queen” responds with a look/sense of Awe (? “Aw”) …
… but it’s not an “Aw – that’s too bad.” It’s more like an “Aw, isn’t that nice.”
It’s obvious that the shelf was too close to the one above it.
Could it be that the shelf got ‘clocked’ by trying to fit things that were too tall.
Well that’s on shelf that won’t need dusting. Now what to do with the others…
No one should be that shef-ish.

What, no bookshelves?
Before now, The Shelving King had only worried about his infrastructure…

Quick.. pull out that slide rule and calculate the fix. And.. be sure to use union labor with the repair.
Those chinks are too heavy for shelves. (I have no idea what that means.)
The safety nut in me doesn’t like the shelf with candles directly below another shelf.
On the bright side, it was the lowest shelf, imagine if a upper one came down upon the others !
Ethel is quite pleased with the shelf malfunction. She hopes to replicate it tomorrow.
