Eddie, dogs do not understand that kind of language.

Maybe…just maybe if he’d stop loading his pocket full of Doggie Yum Yum Chicken Flavored Bones. Although I do love the feet buried up to the ankle in Eddie’s …ahem…blubber.

That’s not all. The dog knows how to push Eddie’s buttons.

He will get much more than just one more.

When I went to visit my family on their ranch, Dad told me to take the dog with me on my walk and I could feed the bull from some cattle kibble in a barrel by the barn. “Just don’t let him back you into a corner of the fence.” he warned.

I loaded up the pockets of my fatigue jacket with kibble and took off with the dog across the pasture. We found the enormous Brahma bull grazing. I rubbed his nose and have him a piece of kibble. He took a step toward me. I gave him another piece of kibble. He took a step forward; I took a step back. I quickly emptied my pocket but the bull kept coming. The dog and I finally had to take off running to lose the bull. He loved his kibble snacks.

Eddie does not seem to know, that the nose knows.. that there is more in the pocket.

Years of having his shirt pockets stretched out by pocket protectors prepared him for this day.

Eddie, you shouldn’t bring so many treats.
