Tony is practicing to be a toastmaster.

Something (his toaster?) seems to have taken charge of Tony.

So much toast, so little brain.

From the look in Tony’s eye the toast has taken over and is now in charge. By tomorrow morning Tony and Theresa will be out on the street and the toastb will be lounging in front of the TV,, buttering themselves in the kitchen and dunking themselves in the contents of the liquor cabinet,.

Toastmasters are looking for Tony.

He puts bread in; it disappears and is replaced by toast. Where does the bread go? Is this an “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” situation?

Now if someone could only invent a toaster that preheats the butter and smears it on the toast when it pops up, . . .
