Brett’s gonna get board with his new friend before long.

Beware the splinters.

I can relate. I’ve got some pieces of plywood that have always been there for me.

Hi Brett, nice to meet you.

Brett has been telling people around town that his new pal has “the firmest handshake he has ever had the pleasure of returning.”

Well, he doesn’t argue, he’s quiet, he didn’t vote so no conflict there, he is portable, and if you get cold you can put him in the fireplace. However if he starts walking and talking you have a problem.

Brett likes the company. His friend does knot pine for anything more.

Looks improved to me: it’s got a hat on.

Well, his new friend may be a bit stiff but he is a good listener.

His friend is always up for some knotty fun.

Cute story on how Brett met Woody: He stopped by Ballard Lumber & Dance Studio last week looking for a 2×10. When the Clerk asked how long he wanted it, he replied: “forever…”

Woodie has a warped sense of humor.

Well it is an improvement over his last companion. The potted palm needed too much attention.

Or as we used to call it. Rough cut lumber

He always gets a woodie when he goes into the workshop…

He’s just a good-ol’-board (but he hits like a 2-by-4)…

With a bit of sandpaper Bretts new friend could be turned into something you would be proud to take outside.

Everyone needs a friend who could use some improvement. :)

That should be my name instead of Brett’s.
