I’m asking myself, how often does Chad do this? Does someone keep count of which direction he goes each time? What’s the distribution among left right, and center?

He seems to have a broken left ankle and left arm. Maybe he should jump in a different direction next time.

I’ve been telling Chad to take a running jump for years.

The Fool. Again! Neal from yesterday must be taking lessons from Chad.

He hasn’t actually jumped yet. Every time the mood hits him, he springs from his chair right into the porch column and is knocked silly.

When Chad perfects his running jumps, he will move on to flying leaps.

Not surprising given that Chad & Neal run the Physics Department at Ballard High…

Chad, just because Neal told you to take a running jump, doesn’t mean you have to…

All the directions chosen so far have resulted in exhilarating jumps… It’s just the landings that haven’t been quite so pleasant… And Mrs. Higglepooder says that if he lands in her flower-bed one more time, she’s gonna plant him there permanently

He’s certain that the last real problem to work out is how to catch that perfect tail-wind…

He should stick to whichever direction makes him most accessible to the paramedics.

Chad is just in training, everyone keeps telling him to take a flying, er, well, you know the rest.

At least today, his dog isn’t leaving mess (that’s the only word GoComics would allow) beneath one of the jump off points to show which one he thinks his master will take. The last time he “won,” Neal landed in it and slide a few feet and landed on his nose. That’s also why Neal goes barefoot. Ruining expensive jumping shoes does not amuse his wife.

Sister Bertrille would do that. But she would just blow with the wind.

Well…as long as he looks before he leaps.

Cleary, Chad took the wrong arrow before.
