Yes, they enjoy each others company…as long as they don’t have to see or talk to each other.

Well, you know the old adage: Out of sight, out of their minds…

It’s an interesting approach; out in public together, yet relishing a little “me time” after all. If it works, who am I to question it?

Kind of like a staycation.

They’re board with each other

We watch TV together all the time. Just in different rooms.

The big reveal after the remodel, “Are you ready to see your new spouse?”

Actually, she can’t stand the smoke from his pipe….

And absence makes the heart grow fonder.

This actually has a certain validity to it. I inherited from my mother the sometimes unfortunate trait of being compelled to converse with someone as long as I can see them. :) :(

Donna was getting really tired of Steve reading over her shoulder and commenting on the plot. Members of the Ballard St WAU (wheels are us) came up with this idea. Evidently, it saved their marriage

The modern equivalent of this is texting each other when you’re in the same room.

After watching some reruns of “the Dating Game”, Steve and Donna came up with some great things to do outdoors…

Steve and Donna can’t stand the sight of each other. This solves the problem.

It was an idyllic marriage, then the wheels fell off.
