and that’s how they fell in love and got married, I suppose ……. not.
Richard has a little gesture in mind for Marcie.
Hey, he’s married to Marcie. Silence means you stay alive!
Zip it, Bub!
Richard can be wise, at least until he finishes his coffee.
Richard looks like his last name could be Nixon.
A closed mouth gathers no foot
“It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.” Which may or may not have been coined by Lincoln, Twain or a host of others.
Richard disapproves of Marcie’s gesture.
Good morning Balladeers.
Marcies twisted pucker of death!
But internally internal: {"If she says ‘Soupçon’ one more time, I’m gonna lose it!"}
Richard tends to repeat his old stories…over and over….
Funny how Richard is only wise when Marcie’s around. With the boys at the Ballard St Pulleys and Beer Club Richard is a complete fool.
Marcie flashes Dick a sign for him to try and snatch that hovering fried egg.
Alas, it is the first flash Marcie has given him since the Eisenhower Administration — hence Richard’s permanent dour grump.
If he doesn’t comply, it changes to the mime koan, “What is the sound of one finger snapping?”
If silence is golden, why am I so broke?
Today would have been Plods birthday. :(
Richard reminds of something George Carlin once said. “He was such a quiet man”.
Even a fool is thought wise if he can keep his mouth shut.
