I had a cat who loved to play with my manual typewriter. I would find the keys jammed in the morning. Eventually, I bought an unjammable IBM Selectric. I had other uses for it but I was curious what the cat would type.
It was disappointing. His plots were thin, had no character development and were very Siamese-centric. I was just glad he was having a good time. :)
How much writing would I (or you) get done on a computer, with the national news, world news, emails, breaking news, etc, available, or even interrupting, my (or your) fiction or nonfiction, or other writing??? A typewriter, whether manual or electric, avoids all that, though all the mistakes I used to make, and the erasures, made the paper too thin to read.

You can just see how old Chip and/or this comic is. A typewriter?

Actually his inserts protected him. You are looking at unscratched, non bleeding cardboard.

Chip decided to venture into writing non-fiction since “Cujo” had already been done.

It’s very hard to write on pets especially belligerent ones.
They move around too much.

Was it Phideax or Felix the cat? It looks like the work of a belligerent cat if you ask me.
