I see that Diane has shot Francis down…again.

at least he got to keep the pants on

Even the Red Baron showed respect for his defeated enemies.

Well Francis, to paraphrase Mark Twain, Lose an air battle in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day.

Francis is dragging defeats.

If Francis is going to have any chance of defeating her, he needs a Fokker!

Shot down in the skies over France in the Great War, the War to End all Wars, his bird mortally wounded over some farmer’s field. Of course that stays with you all day. Sheesh.

His Spandau burst, it couldn’t stand the strain.

I hate days that start that way myself.

Getting one’s wings clipped leads to that air of plummeting defeat.

I’m not sure what Diane did right, or what would propeller to gloat.

It’s OK Francis, it’s all just for play.

Francis has had his wings clipped yet again. I’d be in a funk too if that happened to me before my morning coffee.
