WHAM!
Wilma! Where’s our couch?
Her husband Bill, on the other hand, finds those vintage splinters to be rather off putting.
With her bad back, Susan needs to adjust the lumber-support.
She looks like she isn’t enjoying that one.
Susan is logging lots of hours on this one
Wooden we know Susan wasn’t the type to pine over her old maple-accented divan.
This was a five year anniversary gift from her husband many years ago. The traditional gift of wood. It wasn’t what she had been expecting.
Reminds me of an old church pew. Went to a concert in an historic church. Music was good butt all four of us votes to not come back after intermission.
Looks nice.
Speaking of that, Ballard State Park would like their bench back.
Ironically, no one will be “sawing logs” on that one.
Be nice if the resolution of the comic was a bit higher.
Vintage? That’s paleolithic.
Susan has been anti-loveseat for some time.
That’s certainly vintage in all its glory!
And when the heat goes out she has fuel for the fireplace.
“How do you like my new couch!?”
“Exactly…”
Susan never goes commando and her friends that do don’t come over anymore.
It’s perfect for a lazy Susan.
I’ll bet that one cost a pretty penny! Really vintage and in really good shape!
Good morning Balladeers!
And antique splinters.
I’m with Susan. I have a Muskoka chair, with many coats of varnish, lovingly applied, in my living room. It’s the most comfortable seat in there.
She wood, woodn’t she.
Susan is just pining for the good ole days on the Ballard Softball team.
but you can tell that she wasn’t a starter.
Susan readily accepted Flo’s advice to just go with the grain.
susan just lumbers along at her own pace…
Is the surface sealed… or are splinters in delicate locations a possibility?
She may have picked up this one last Tuesday at Elmo’s “Kartoffelpuffer Hut and Antiques Made Wile-U-Wait Boo-Teek”.
