Little early for fireworks wars.

But Martha, he’s not using the really BIG firecrackers this afternoon.

Martha has the window replacement guys on speed dial.

Roger: “It was quiet until you started yelling at me.”

“Well I’m sorry dear, but you thought wrong. Surprise!”

“Of course we’re going to have a quiet afternoon …

But it’s still morning.."

Of course! I was planning to light them and then fling them over the fence! Fred and Fanny Feeblemeister are still asleep. They’ll love this wake-up call!

Well, there goes Roger’s Big Bang theory…

A quite loud one.

It won’t be quiet now, if Roger has his way.

No quiet in the U.S. from now until a few weeks after July 4th. At least where I live. Every night just after I get to sleep, boom, crackle fireworks.

I’m surprised he still has all his fingers.

After this, you won’t be able to hear anything this afternoon!

Dinah might not approve, Roger.

Guys and their fireworks. My older brother and my much younger brother decided it would be a great idea to dump a few small fireworks into a copperhead nest close to the house to scare them away. The brothers got spooked and ended up dropping the flame on the whole bag of fireworks. Mom and I laughed and laughed as they scurried to safety. The snakes remained.

After that initial bank.. it will be quit until your eardrums grow back

Looks like the afternoon is about to get a good rogering. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

There will be a brief noise. Afterward, everything will seem MUCH quieter.

Only if you lock Roger up. :)

This IS quiet. Roger usually lights up six at once.
