Well, if Mr. Webblestern had the common courtesy of offering Birdwell a cup of coffee this wouldn’t have happened.

“This ‘relationship’ you have with coffee is unusual, not to say unhealthy, Birdwell. Have yourself looked at by a competent medical authority.”

So far the boss is holding back on his contempt.

Dippy Birdwell, the inventor of the popular Dippy Bird, lives up to his namesake.

“I drink your French roast Jamaican Blue Mountain!” would have sounded so much cooler if Birdwell could have said it in Daniel Day-Lewis’ voice.

Well, maybe you shouldn’t have said “Make yourself comfortable, Birdwell…”

You don’t invite Birdwell for a morning meeting without giving him his own cup.. ever. In fact it’s spelled out in his union contract, page 2 paragraph 3. Morning meetings will include coffee and and doughnuts. There may well be job action after this..

And he went after it like a rabid dog. So many splashes.

It is very rare for us to drink coffee using cup and saucer. We only do so when entertaining 8 or more folks as that allows us to keep up with consumption.

Ha! Usually when people offer you tea they mean, can I get you your own cup.

That suit looks “familiar”, too. :)
