Where is Russell? Tied up in the basement of the Andersons next door. It’s their turn.

They need an officer walking the beat to keep the noise down. C’mon, let’s drum up support for police presence on Ballard St.

Fortunately for the neighbours Russell is a strong union member and takes frequent breaks.

The local Neighborhood Watch, gathered together down at Precinct 13, explained that they were just “kickin’ out the jams”, and Russell got in the way…

I lived next door to a deaf drummer – literally. The walls between our duplex apartments were just slats. He would pass out with his stereo blasting. One day I could not wake him, so I turned off the power. The next time it happened I got the landlady on the phone and let her listen. He needed headphones in the worst way but couldn’t figure it out.
