Once again, Neil is going to find that he’s all wet.

Neil should come and try the complex I live at. The sprinklers water the sidewalks right during morning rush hour.

As soon as Neil reaches his car he realizes he must go back and turn it off or the yard will flood while he’s at work

He works for the town water utility. He needs to get in early to catch people defying the current watering ban.

Wow, Neil commutes by car? I thought Ballard Streeters all rode the bus.

Neil has been doing this since he was in elementary school. Why change now?

Neil is a wise man, staying fit is fundamental to his job as a dog catcher.

Neil’s got the runs again.

Competitive with what? Myocardial Infarctions?

Like so many things, it’s all in the timing!

Good afternoon Balladeers! I’m late today!

I assume wife doesn’t work, and will turn the sprinkler off after an hour or so…

And when he doesn’t make it, his ego will be raised to negative levels.

At work, the sprinklers normally run at night. Nobody bothered to tell us when they ran “sprinkler tests” in the daytime. My front seat got soaked. Coming out and finding that mess will also get your heart rate up. :)

neil’s other cardio pastime is juggling lawn darts…
