Have you noticed how some companies have a phone system with a bandwidth just good enough for voice, but their “hold” music sounds terrible? Big companies too, that should understand the image crappy phone lines creates.
I used to work in a call center for a telephone company. One day the hold music was accidentally tuned to an uncensored rap channel. The managers frantically told us not to put anyone on hold.
@ptnjbrown. I guess the only thing you can do at that point is to put your hands in the air like you just don’t care. (I currently work in a call center, have taken my share of phone calls, now in a non call taking position.)
