I am 62 and my mom is 85 (86 in Nov). I am hoping she gets to see both of her kids hit 65 – my little sister just turned 60. She is still pretty active. Does Tai Chi, walks about 1/4 mile every morning to get the newspaper, does water aerobics, still drives to local dr. appts., etc. Unfortunately, my father passed away 5 years ago from leukemia. Today would have been his 89th birthday (but HIS dad lived to see his son reach 65 – he lived to be 93).

Kid at 20, live to 85. Or any other combination adding or subtracting the same amount to both ages.

I know a few people to whom this would apply, mostly in a little town called Willamina, OR where the Senior discount starts at 80 yo.

I thought they were discussing the array of tv programs to choose from in the era of Peak TV
