Panel 3 reminded me of an Abbott and Costello routine, that went something like this:
Abbott: Should you marry a homely girl or a beautiful girl?
Costello: Marry a homely girl. If you marry a beautiful girl, one day she might run away.
Abbott: But a homely girl could run away.
Costello: Yeah, but who cares?
