Not sure I get it – but dark humor to be sure.

Should have drawn one of those ‘dotted line’ gags, with lines going every which way ending in the pools of blood!

I feel like Family Circus really gets picked on a lot. Not just Lio, but a few other strips (Pearls Before Swine to name one). Alternately, I may just read a lot of “disturbed” strips.
