Is it possible to figure out when Woodstock’s first actual appearance in the strip was? There have been plenty of birds resembling him in earlier strips which might actually have been him, which I think makes this task difficult. One of the birds who hatch in the March 4, 1966 strip might be Woodstock, and April 4, 1967 appears might be him as well.

I wonder if Charles Schulz went to the Woodstock music festival in 1969? He might likes the bands that played there.

Bruh. Woodstock first appeared in April 4th, 1967 and even then, he wasn’t named until this Comic Strip?
