One plus of being 3 of 6, you only do dishes a couple times a week.

It could also simply be, “When you bring all those dishes back from your room?”.

When you run out? and then go singular and wash “one” dish.. cutlery only needs a shake or perhaps a quick wipe.

I had that problem with one of my old roommates, we ate our meals seperately but we were suppose to take turns washing the dishes, I usually ended up doing the dishes because he put off his turn until we didn’t have anything left so I didn’t have a choice if I wanted to make or eat anything. Then there was the time when we moved to a new apartment, the last load of things from the old apartment belonged to him and he promised to move them out of my car at the new apartment (I was the only one with a car). A week later the load was still in my car when some friends came over for a visit, someone suggested going to a movie and my roommate suggested we take my car (I was the only one there with a car), and I had to point out that we couldn’t use my car because there was no room with his stuff still in the back. That’s when he suggested that our friends chip in and help empty the car so we could all go to the movies, and that’s how he managed to move his stuff from the car to the apartment without having to do the work himself.
