My 14-year-old daughter loves to draw. I CAN, but I’m not very good. However, I write poetry. This year she told me about “Inktober”, a creative challenge or artists that she participated in. I decided to as well, writing a poem for each prompt. We both had so much fun that next year we’re going to do it again…except together: I’ll write & she’ll illustrate my poem!

Most children draw then later stop. Only a few of us continue on or show any talent.
