Peppermint Patty sits on a cushion in front of the TV. She thinks, "I must be crazy to watch this.."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown walks up behind her.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty turns and explains, "It's a beauty contest, Chuck, and for someone like me, it's vey depressing..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits next to Peppermint Patty, who continues, "Look there's the girl who won... See how happy she is?"<BR><BR> "You think that'll ever hapen to me, Chuck? No way!!" Peppermint Patty lifts her arm in dismissal.<BR><BR> She turns away and says, "I'm not beautiful, Chuck..I'm not beautiful, and I'll never BE beautiful..you think I enjoy watching beauty contests? I hate them!"<BR><BR> "Now I'm all depressed..rats!" She frowns.<BR><BR> They sit and stare at the TV."Say something to cheer me up, Chuck..." "Well, I.." Charlie Brown begins. Snoopy walks up behind them.<BR><BR> CLICK! Snoopy tuns off the TV.<BR><BR> SMAK! He kisses a startled Peppermint Patty. [PANEL 11]: "He's a funny-looking kid, but he knows how to make a girl happy.." Peppermint Patty admits as she walks off with Snoopy. Charlie Brown sighs.<BR><BR>
