Saint Pol-Sur-Mer!"<BR><BR> He flies.<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "Here's the World War I flying Ace bringing his Sopwith Camel in for a landing..."<BR><BR> He lifts up his goggles, sticking them on top of his head, and thinks, "I'm exhausted...This stupid war is too much..."<BR><BR> He stands in front of the doghouse and thinks, "I need a night of revelry...I need to forget.."<BR><BR> "I shall go into the village and quaff a few root beers.." he thinks as he walks along.<BR><BR> He sits at a table with a checkered cloth in a dim room. A bottle and glass is on the table. He thinks, "Perhaps some dark-haired lass will share my table.."<BR><BR> He looks down around him: "Hmm...I'll have to watch what I say tonight and not become too talkative.."<BR><BR> Snoopy raises his brows and thinks: "Spies!" On the floor surrounding him are little creatures wearing white sheets with eyeholes.<BR><BR>

I wonder why it’s WW1 and not WW2?

It’s always WW I. There were NO SOPWITH CAMELS in WW II and the head gear the famed WW I flying ace wears is definitely pre-1919 and so it has to be!!! sign me a former flier of Rhinebeck Aerodrome…
