Hamhock: Man, this storm is crazy! They say there's major flooding! Streets are wiped out! People are losing their homes! I should check the news and get an update. The thought of those poor people stuck out there is just - what? The cable's out?? OH MY LORD, THIS IS THE WORST TRAGEDY TO EVER BEFALL MANKIND!!!

Try losing cell service for nearly 24 hours. No calling anyone, no using debit, no ATMs. Emergency services disrupted. Argh! Losing cable is nothing!
