If you were invisible the light coming into your eyes would not stop at your retina but would just go past. Your eyes could not receive an image and that would cause you to be blind.

Just take the belt off. You’ll be visible again. And when the battery dies, the belt will be visible again, and you can figure out where the “off” button is. Although if it was built by Mr. Negato, there probably isn’t an “off” button.
