I remember kids doing house and yard chores for the family and not getting paid for it.
Heck, I just mow the leaves into tiny bits that the first wind storm blows away. makes life much simpler.
So, she wasn’t sincere, she was just stalling. Got it.
Oh leaf her alone. We should all be thankful for those things.
Go explain to dad the value of mulching the leaves on the lawn.
