I worked in the dietary department of a long term care facility for seniors. I loved them and my job. For the most part the building was free of mice, insects. The maintenance department was deligent in making the facility pest free. But one day I was using the dishwasher and to my left was a garbage pail. I could see in my peripheral vision what looked like a wet tea bag sitting on the edge fo the can. So I grabbed it to put it in the can but I was startled when that ‘bag’ wiggled in my hand! It was a mouse. I dropped the thing in surprise and off it went. One time I and another guy caught a mouse on the loading dock and put it a box and kept it for while. We did not tell anybody. But we knew we had to let it go. Neither one of us wanted to kill it. We let it go outside and it seemed to head to the grocery store next door. :-)

If it was just the walking, it would not be so bad.

Just think, restaurant kitchens. Hopefully most are sanitary.

Ever notice how Henry seems to have very good flexibility for a man. He’s almost sitting in side splits. I wonder if Chip was a gymnast at one time.

I’m battling mice right now, so my feelings are leaning toward traps for all rodents, even cartoon ones.

A cartoon featuring a ship captain having a heart-to-heart with the resident mice. Go figger!

I don’t get it today. Is he threatening to put traps back out?

I imagine everyone can use a little confession and forgiveness in their lives, crew.
Kudos to Henry for telling his truth, and seeking reconciliation for the past.

Good Evening, Crew.
